NFL rumors: Lamar Jackson buzz, Bears big splash, Cowboys WR trade idea

NFL rumors: Could the Cowboys trade for KJ Hamler?
The Dallas Cowboys need a wide receiver opposite of CeeDee Lamb. They’ve been lacking at the spot ever since dealing away Amari Cooper, which surely Jerry Jones realizes.
The Denver Broncos are shopping the likes of Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton and KJ Hamler. Of those three, Hamler might be the most explosive and best fit for the Dallas offense. The Chiefs should be in on him as well since he’s an ideal Mecole Hardman replacement, but let’s ignore that for now. If Dallas is first on this train, they can acquire Hamler.
So, what’s the asking price?
That’s…not bad for a player who can double in special teams if needed. Hamler has the speed and explosiveness the Cowboys are looking for, and plenty of room to grow into his role. Dak Prescott will love his versatility.
Hamler’s numbers alone aren’t all that impressive. In just seven games last season, he had a little under 200 receiving yards. He was also injured for much of that time. On the flip side, he also had to deal with Nathaniel Hackett and Russell Wilson.
The benefit of trading for Hamler is also that the Cowboys should by no means be done making a moves to help at that position. DeAndre Hopkins and Odell Beckham Jr. are still on their radar for a reason.
