Lamar Jackson has made it known that he wants out of Baltimore, and the Ravens are now left in a very difficult position because of it. If they fulfill his wish and let him go, the Ravens are going to have a massive hole at the QB position. When noting that all of the other big-name free-agent QBs have found new homes, the Ravens’ options are rather limited as well. All of this could open the door to the Ravens taking a chance on Newton.

This scenario could provide Newton with the best opportunity to succeed, as he would have a legitimate shot of being a starter and have a solid offense to work with. Perhaps a move to Baltimore could even allow Newton to find his previous form. Therefore, what would be the harm in the Ravens taking a look at Newton? It seems like a low-risk, high-reward kind of move on paper.

At the end of the day, it might not be the worst thing in the world for the Ravens to bring in Newton.
