Alabama football: Jalen Milroe makes incredible pass in spring practice
Milroe is a four-star recruit from the 2021 class. He’s sat behind Young since joining the Crimson Tide program. But, he did receive some significant playing time in his sophomore season.
After Young suffered a shoulder injury in a game against the Arkansas Razorbacks, Milroe entered in relief, completing four-of-nine pass attempts for 65 yards and a touchdown, while running for 91 yards and a touchdown on six carries in the 49-26 win.
Milroe received his first career start the following game against the Texas A&M Aggies, throwing for 111 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception while completing 12-of-19 pass attempts. Milroe also ran for 81 yards on 17 carries. The Crimson Tide won that game 24-20.
As for Brooks, he is coming off of a strong junior season, in which he caught 39 passes for 674 yards and a team-high eight touchdowns. He ranked just behind Jermaine Burton, who led the team with 40 catches and 677 yards.
Alabama fans are going to be following the quarterback battle very closely. But, they have to be intrigued after seeing this pass from Milroe.
