QBs who could enter transfer portal after spring practice

1. Brock Vandagriff, Georgia

Brock Vandagriff is in a three-way quarterback competition with Carson Beck and Gunner Stockton. The former is a veteran who already seems to have the edge for the starting job. The later is a redshirt freshman and former four-star.

Kirby Smart isn’t likely to name a starter after spring camp but it still feels like the job will go to Beck despite Vandagriff’s dual-threat talent.

Vandagriff is entering his third year with the Bulldogs and he has yet to complete a pass. The former five-star may need to pull a Justin Fields and find his place elsewhere. It certainly worked for Fields just fine.

The tricky part about leaving after spring ball, of course, is that the possibility of winning the job in fall camp remains. It wouldn’t be an easy decision to cut bait this early.
