2. Buffalo Bills

The Bills have been rumored or mentioned every time a big-name running back is set to hit the market. Yet somehow, we have yet to see any of these rumors come to fruition. Perhaps it is just wishful thinking for an offense that’s only hole seems to be their lack of a rushing attack.

Devin Singletary decided to leave Buffalo and sign with the Texans this offseason, creating 215 vacated touches in one of the league’s most high-powered offenses. The Bills signed Damien Harris following Singletary’s departure, but the deal is only worth $1.77 million.

This offseason, Josh Allen and the entire Bills organization have made a collective effort to address his dangerous style of play. What better way to take pressure off Josh Allen than to provide him stability in the backfield? Joe Mixon would be the best running back Allen has played with in his career.

The Bills have come up short in the postseason each of the last four seasons since Josh Allen has taken over. This fanbase went a long time without a playoff appearance, now it is the norm.

The fans, front office, and team all expect to be competing for the Super Bowl yearly with Josh Allen under center. Joe Mixon could be what the Bills need to get over the hump while simultaneously helping Josh Allen protect him from himself.
