NFL Draft rumors: Latest trade buzz and reaches to expect tonight

C.J. Stroud could be a target for trade-up teams
C.J. Stroud might be a player to watch teams trade up for. Right now, it doesn’t look like he’s going first to the Panthers, and it seems like the Houston Texans could pass (though I have no idea why they would). The Cardinals roster Kyler Murray, so they don’t need him, meaning the next logical place based on the current order (if Houston passes) is the Colts at four.
Unless…
If Houston passes on Stroud, expect someone to make a jump up to three to grab him before Indy has a chance. Aaron Wilson reported that the Titans are looking to trade up to No. 3 to grab Stroud.
Tennessee needs a quarterback and feels like a great fit for either Stroud or Anthony Richardson out of Florida. We’ll touch more on the third overall pick later in the article, but Tennessee might be challenged to put together a compelling package since several teams seem to be interested in Arizona’s pick, which appears to be on the market.
