NFL Power Rankings 2023, Post-NFL Draft: No. 24-22

Las Vegas Raiders. 24. team. 28. . .

The Raiders are coming off a disappointing 6-11 showing and quarterback Derek Carr was released by the club. General manager Dave Ziegler and Josh McDaniels signed some familiar faces in quarterbacks Jimmy Garoppolo and Brian Hoyer and wide receivers Jakobi Myers and Phillip Dorsett, all with former Patriots’ ties.

The team added nine draft choices, six of those for a defensive unit that never seems to get better.

15. . . . New Orleans Saints. 23. team

Dennis Allen is back for his second season as the team’s head coach. The club is coming off its first losing campaign since 2016. However, there’s a brand-new face at quarterback in the form of veteran Derek Carr, who was cut loose by the Raiders this offseason and reunites with Allen.

The Saints were turnover-prone this past season, a big reason they were such a disappointment. The run defense really struggled.

53. . . . Cleveland Browns. 22. team

The franchise comes off yet another losing season (7-10) and wound up finishing dead last in the AFC North. In fact, the Browns were the only team in the division with a losing record.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson joined the team in December and Cleveland split its final six outings, but he was understandably rusty. University of Tennessee wide receiver Cedric Tillman (3rd round) was the team’s top selection.
