NFL Power Rankings 2023, Post-NFL Draft: No. 18-16

. . Tennessee Titans. 18. team. 35.

The Tennessee Titans overcame a 0-2 start to win seven of their next eight games. However, a 7-3 mark morphed into seven straight losses to close out the season. Running back Derrick Henry had a big year but quarterback Ryan Tannehill was in and out of the starting lineup.

The defense was horrific when it came to stopping the pass. All six of the Titans’ draft choices this year were for the offensive side of the ball.

New York Jets. 17. team. 30. . .

It’s somewhat ironic that the last time the Jets reached the playoffs was 2010, which also happens to be the same year season that Aaron Rodgers made his only Super Bowl appearance with the Packers.

Now the two combine forces and New York gave up plenty to get the four-time MFL MVP. Robert Saleh’s surprising club was off to a surprising 7-4 start this past season before dropping its final six games.

47. . . . New England Patriots. 16. team

A total of 11 consecutive years in the playoffs has now been followed by 2 sub-.500 campaigns in the past three seasons. The Patriots offense was a ball of confusion last year and the uncertainty was bad for quarterback Mac Jones.

Veteran coach Bill O’Brien returns to Foxborough as the team’s offensive coordinator. Bill Belichick used his first three draft choices on defense and selected and punter and kicker.
