NFL Power Rankings 2023, Post-NFL Draft: No. 15-13

Minnesota Vikings. 15. team. 60. . .

What to make of these Vikings? They had few problems putting points on the board a year ago and had a knack for winning the close games, something that eluded the club in 2021. However, their defense was horrendous despite making the playoffs and winning the NFC North with a 13-4 record.

Kevin O’Connell’s club was pushed around in the wild card playoff by the Giants and the team let go of some familiar faces.

26. . . . Baltimore Ravens. 14. team

The Ravens usually do their best work during the draft when it comes to restocking their roster. The team added wide receiver Zay Flowers (Boston College) with their first-round selection.

In terms of veterans, GM Eric DeCosta signed wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (who didn’t play football in 2022) to a one-year deal. Quarterback Lamar Jackson is back in the fold after inking a new five-year, $260 million contract.

Pittsburgh Steelers. 13. team. 55. . .

In his first year as general manager, Omar Khan was particularly aggressive during the offseason, and that continued during the draft. The club revamped its inside linebacking corps with Elandon Roberts and Cole Holcomb.

On the first night of the draft, the Steelers moved up three spots in the first round to take tackle Broderick Jones (Georgia). Penn State cornerback Joey Porter Jr. fell right into the team’s lap at No. 32.
