The Giants are looking to build off their first playoff appearance since 2016 and first postseason win since Super Bowl XLVI in 2011. They gave quarterback Daniel Jones a new contract and put the “franchise” tag on running back Saquon Barkley, who stayed healthy. The NFL’s 25th-ranked defense should be better with defensive tackles DT Rakeem Nunez-Roches and A’Shawn Robinson and linebacker Bobby Okereke.
