NFL Power Rankings 2023, Post-NFL Draft: No. 12-10

. . Seattle Seahawks. 12. team. 36.

Thanks to a superb draft 2022 draft, the Seahawks bounced back from the last-place finish in 2021 to capture a playoff berth. The team dropped all three of its meetings with the NFC West champion 49ers, including a lopsided loss in the wild-card round. Geno Smith was the NFL Comeback Player of the Year. Speaking of comebacks, linebacker Bobby Wagner has returned after a one-year stint with the Rams.

. New York Giants. 11. team. 31. .

The Giants are looking to build off their first playoff appearance since 2016 and first postseason win since Super Bowl XLVI in 2011. They gave quarterback Daniel Jones a new contract and put the “franchise” tag on running back Saquon Barkley, who stayed healthy. The NFL’s 25th-ranked defense should be better with defensive tackles DT Rakeem Nunez-Roches and A’Shawn Robinson and linebacker Bobby Okereke.

team. 13. . . . Los Angeles Chargers. 10

This was a playoff team this past season for the first time since 2018. How long will the taste of blowing a 27-point lead at Jacksonville haunt Brandon Staley’s club? This offseason, the Chargers added linebacker Eric Kendricks, late of the Vikings. The Bolts drafted exactly one player in each of the seven rounds, three from TCU in wideouts Quentin Johnson (1st) and Derius Davis (4th) and quarterback Max Duggan (7th).
