3. Azurá Stevens, F/C, Los Angeles Sparks

Stevens was widely viewed as a top free agent target this past offseason and got paid as such. Until now, Stevens has always been a bench piece. Her move to LA will mark the first time she has been viewed as a full-time starter. For a team looking to get back on track, that comes with a tremendous amount of pressure.

The 6-foot-6 forward is a fascinating player, capable of impacting the game in a variety of ways. Stevens can space the floor, defend multiple actions, and rebound well. In LA, Stevens will be heavily relied upon for doing all three consistently.

Another important factor will be her health. The last time Stevens was a starter, she was injured just 13 games into the season. It is the only time in her career that she has played more than 22 minutes per game, too. LA’s depth inside is average at best, so Stevens staying healthy while playing big minutes is important.
