Sevaughn Clark withdraws name from transfer portal

Georgia’s running back room will be stocked a little more solidly than expected thanks to the return of Sevaughn Clark from the transfer portal.

Clark put his name in the portal after he had two carries for seven yards and a touchdown in the Georgia spring game. The redshirt junior walk-on had five carries for 35 yards in the national title game blowout of TCU.

Now he’s back to help the Bulldogs go for a three-peat.

Clark’s return is interesting in light of the transfer commitment from former Tennessee running back Len’Neth Whitehead.

The running back room is headlined by Kendall Milton, Daijun Edwards and Branson Robinson. There probably won’t be much room for Clark or Whitehead to eat with those three ahead of them, even with Milton returning from a hamstring injury that cut his spring short.
