The Braves should trade for Shane Bieber

The Braves are 43-26, sitting in first place in the NL East and five games ahead of the Marlins.

Max Fried and Kyle Wright are on the 60-day injured list. Spencer Strider is struggling while Charlie Morton, 39, is trying to lead the staff. The rotation is rounded off with youngsters Bryce Elder, Jared Shuster and A.J. Smith-Shawver, who is 20 years old and recently earned his first win for the club.

Bieber would add some veteran stability to a young rotation while their ace, Fried, is out with left forearm issues.

Making a trade to get Bieber could be the key to push the Braves back into the playoffs.
