Most important targets for the Heat: 2. Max Strus

Trading for Damian Lillard is priority number one for this team but they can’t control with the Trail Blazers do and bringing back key contributors is essential. Strus is a free agent after an amazing postseason starting on the wing.

Strus may have a lot of options this offseason and his free agency will reportedly come down to role and “life-changing money”.  The Heat can most likely offer a big enough role. While he will not be able to start anymore if the Heat trade for Lillard, Strus will be a high-quality role player for the team. When it comes to the money, the team might not be able to offer the amount that other teams can offer due to the fact that they are over the cap. Teams that will courting him including the Bulls and others.

There’s a good chance Strus leaves but the heat should be doing everything they can to try and keep him.
