We all want nothing more than for this event to start and for the national pastime of eating way too much food to begin. It’s a marvelous event that you can only help but just be in awe of every year it happens.
Right now, no official word has been given on the competition. But looking at the above forecast, one could assume the festivities should take off right around 12:45 p.m., or by 1 p.m. if event organizers prefer a more round number.
Any possible flooding could delay things further, though. Fingers crossed that this kicks off soon.
