1. The Marlins make the most sense as a Ha-Seong Kim trade destination

The Miami Marlins are a team that arguably makes the most sense as a Ha-Seong Kim trade destination. They're in desperate need of position players, particularly in their infield. They have little interest in spending money to fill that need, and have a ton of pitching to trade.

The Marlins have three of their four infield positions filled for now, but shortstop remains wide open. They have players like Jon Berti, Vidal Brujan, and Xavier Edwards who could theoretically step in at shortstop, but they'd benefit greatly by adding a player like Kim if their goal is to make a second straight playoff appearance.

The Marlins won't be trading pitchers like Eury Perez or Jesus Luzardo for a rental in Kim, but other options like Edward Cabrera, Trevor Rogers, or Braxton Garrett might be available. The Marlins would certainly prefer to acquire an infielder with more team control, but beggars can't always be choosers.

Kim gives the Marlins some added versatility while also providing much-needed boosts both at the plate and in the field. It's a bit of an all-in kind of move, but the Marlins should be trying to be aggressive after making the playoffs last season.
