Earlier today, it was announced by head coach Chip Kelly that Nick Foles would continue to start at quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles.

That of course wasn’t exactly shocking considering how well Foles has played in recent weeks, but it’s still a bit strange to see a player – let alone a quarterback of Michael Vick‘s stature – lose their job due to injury. But that’s exactly what has happened to Vick, who will be active and holding a clipboard during the Eagles’ Week 13 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Vick says he wasn’t disappointed in the fact that Foles will draw the start over him, but did say that he believes he is still a starting quarterback in the NFL:

"Michael Vick said that he’s 100 percent healthy. Said he isn’t disappointed. Asked Vick if he thought he was still a starter in NFL. Threw it back at me: “What do you think?” I said, Yeah? “Well there’s your answer.”"

The former Atlanta Falcons signal caller was very gracious last week when asked about Foles and even admitted that he should continue to start, though, it’s actually hard to believe that’s really the way Vick feels.
