Before Andrew Luck entered the NFL he was drawing high praise. However, with a season under his belt the sophomore quarterback looks every part of the franchise quarterback so many pegged him to become.

More from Indianapolis Colts

That includes Chip Kelly who is rather familiar with Andrew Luck thanks to their time in the Pac-12.

With Kelly’s Philadelphia Eagles set to take on Luck’s Indianapolis Colts this weekend, Philly’s head coach couldn’t help but praise the signal caller, comparing him to Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Drew Brees.

"“He’s in that Peyton Manning-Drew Brees-Tom Brady [category] from a mental standpoint,” Kelly said. “He’s always on. And that’s why in every game they have a shot. Even last Sunday night, when you fall asleep at 24-7 and say ‘Broncos got a victory,’ then all of a sudden they’re onside kicking and they got a shot at winning it.“He can do it all. I don’t think there’s anything you can throw at him that he’s going to say he’s never seen it. He really has the whole package. it’ll be a real big challenge for us Monday night.”"

While Andrew Luck obviously isn’t near their peak level, he has proven himself to be one of the best young quarterback’s the NFL has ever seen. The stats back such an argument up and while Andrew Luck still has plenty of room to grow, he’s certainly worth of such praise at a young age.

Luck and his Colts will attempt to avoid an 0-2 start on Monday night as the Eagles aim to improve to 2-0.
