Back in 2010 the San Francisco Giants nearly missed the postseason though a late season surge (and collapse by the San Diego Padres) allowed the Giants to squeak in.

More from MLB Postseason

Of course San Francisco ran through the postseason with incredible efficiency, never playing in an elimination game en route to their first World Series title since 1954. They had a secret weapon though, which was the infamous ‘Rally Thong’ worn by first baseman Aubrey Huff.

The since retired Huff has decided to bring the orange/red thong (which also has the word ‘Papi’ spelled out in rhinestones) in support of not only his junk but the San Francisco Giants as they take on the Pittsburgh Pirates in a winner-take-all Wild Card matchup.

Aubrey Huff famously pulled the ‘Rally Thong’ out of his pants during the San Francisco Giants’ championship parade though that was the last we had seen of it until 2012 when Huff busted it out again for good luck. The San Francisco Giants yet again won the World Series so it appears as if Huff Daddy is hoping the package supporter will give the Giants a little extra boost on Wednesday night.

The winner of the Wild Card game between Pittsburgh and San Francisco will open NLDS play against the Washington Nationals on Friday afternoon.
