Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee asks Pittsburgh Steelers punt returner Antonio Brown not to kick him in the face.

You may recall a few weeks back, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown (who also returns kicks/punts) achieved internet infamy when he unleashed a shoe to the face of Cleveland Browns punter Spencer Lanning.

Not wanting to become similar roadkill, Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee politely asked Brown if he’d avoid destroying his face this weekend when the two teams meet up.

Anybody that follows Pat McAfee on social media knows the punter has a good sense of humor and probably was just trying to draw out a response from the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver. He did just that as Antonio Brown responded to McAfee suggesting it would be a home coming for the punter, who of course was born in Pittsburgh.

I’m not exactly sure what Brown’s response has to do with Pat McAfee’s original tweet though given the fact Brown wouldn’t commit to not doing it, I’d do everything I could to avoid kicking it to Antonio Brown this weekend. You know the wide receiver wants nothing more than to completely railroad McAfee on a potential punt return as he’s likely to have a significant amount of friends and family in the crowd.

Brown better be careful though as we’ve seen McAfee unleash a can of boom on unsuspecting return men before. Of course, we’ve also seen him completely whiff on a potential tackle too so maybe he’s best served staying out of the way.

When’s the last time a matchup between a punter and a return man was all that interesting?!
