Johnny Manziel has been having a nightmare debut as a starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns this afternoon, and the Cincinnati Bengals are letting him know it. Pacman Jones is one of the many Bengals’ defensive players that have flashed Manziel’s “money sign” at him, and they are completely embarrassing the Browns this afternoon.
Unfortunately for Manziel, he was thrown into the fire against a rival team that was hungry to get revenge for their loss to the Browns earlier this season. He has yet to get anything going through the air, and hasn’t made plays on the ground either. Cleveland appears to be headed towards a loss and getting knocked out of playoff contention, and the excitement surrounding Manziel has turned into major disappointment from the city of Cleveland.
Take a look at Jones flashing the money sign for the cameras:
Manziel is going to have to have short memory when it comes to this game if he wants to get back out there next week and perform. He is having a rough first game, but he cannot allow himself to listen to the media and fans talking about his failure. Every player has bad games, and Manziel’s just happened to be in his debut when there was a ton of media attention surrounding him.
