Inspecting potential landing places for Tom Coughlin after 12 years as head coach of the New York Giants.

It was a largely glamorous run for Tom Coughlin with the New York Giants, but all good things must come to an end at some point. Coughlin leaves the organization with 102 wins, two NFC Championship titles, and two Super Bowl rings.

Overall, he was well-liked by his players and that’s what makes his resignation even harder for them. He was one of the more well-respected head coaches in the game, and should he choose to not coach any longer it will be a devastating blow to the sport.

Coughlin had it good in New York and will now transition into his next phase of life. During his press conference, Coughlin was clear to point out that he is only resigning and not retiring. There are many coaching vacancies available should he want to jump right back into the league. No matter where he lands, his inclusion will provide an instant upgrade to the team he does decide to work for.

Check out five destinations Coughlin could be headed to if he is offered a job and he deems it to “be the right” opportunity.
