1. Jordan Cameron-TE-Cleveland Browns (41.2%)

Cameron has been a sleeper many have been all over this preseason, and I’ve been on the bandwagon since early on. Norv Turner’s offense is designed to make a star of the tight end, and Cameron has drawn rave reviews all preseason.

He delivered on his promise in week one against Miami catching 9 of his team-high 13 targets for 108 yards and a touchdown. Those numbers were good enough to earn him a top-five finish among tight ends in week one trailing only Jared Cook of the Rams, Julius Thomas of the Broncos, Vernon Davis of the 49ers, and Jason Witten of the Cowboys. He was targeted more than any other tight end, and sets up well to produce big numbers all season long.

The Browns QB questions will be the only thing that limits Cameron’s ability to reach his upside, but even with Brandon Weeden’s ugly week one Cameron put up solid numbers. That bodes well for the big USC Alumnus as he continues to be a large part of the overall plan even with Weeden’s struggles.

He gets a great matchup next week as the Browns roll to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. In case you overdosed on football Sunday and forgot, the Ravens D got shredded by Peyton Manning in the opener and was particularly vulnerable to the tight end allowing Julius Thomas to get a pair of TD’s and 110 yards. The Browns will be without #1 WR Josh Gordon for another week, so expect Cameron to get plenty of looks this week and deliver another solid outing. If you have a need at tight end as a starter or backup, Cameron looks legit and should put up numbers all year.
