1. Jason Snelling-RB-Atlanta Falcons (16.1%)

I’ve come around on Snelling after seriously doubting his worth last week and leaving him off my list. With Steven Jackson out for multiple weeks, Snelling should continue to get plenty of work in the Falcons offense. This past week, Jacquizz Rodgers did lead the Falcons in carries and rushing yards as I expected, but I didn’t expect Snelling to get 11 carries.

Snelling ran for 53 yards on those carries, but just as importantly he contributed 58 yards on four catches and scored a touchdown. Snelling looks poised to play a larger role in the passing game of the Falcons, and expect them to be in plenty of passing formations Sunday Night against the Patriots.

Snelling is a hard-nose runner who is more durable than Rodgers and is definitely worth a pickup if he keeps getting his share of the touches out of the backfield. The Patriots are in the bottom 10 in the league in running yards allowed, so Snelling is a legit flex option if you need a plug-and-play option. If his usage stays the same, he’ll be worth a look until Jackson returns.
