Week 3 was a bizarre one in the NFL. Some very reliable producers struggled while other little-known options exploded for big games. Hopefully your team survived and even thrived in the topsy-turvy week 3, and if you are looking to improve your squad and especially your depth heading into the bye weeks, you have come to the right place.

Each Tuesday on Fansided.com you can find our top 10 waiver wire pickups for the coming week. Each week, I’ll do my best to include at least one quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end as well as a team defense with a favorable matchup in case your streaming defenses or looking for a one-week fill in.

All players mentioned are available in at least 50% of ESPN leagues as of Monday and their ownership percentages are included in parentheses. That means that some of our past mentions (last week’s post available here) like Jordan Cameron, Julius Thomas, Bilal Powell, and Julian Edelman are no longer eligible to appear even though they still make good pickups if  available. If you’re not sure where a higher-owned player would rank, feel free to ask me on twitter @ZT_Sports or include the question in a comment at the bottom of the page. I’ll do my best to answer all your questions as quickly as possible for your roster adjustments.

All scoring references are ESPN Standard scoring used to give a common baseline to work from. Adjust appropriately your team and league scoring system.

Check out the top 10 for this week including a couple returning options, and some players that can help you navigate the upcoming bye-weeks.
