Jacquizz Rodgers: Week 7 fantasy football outlook
By Jason Marcum
But one can’t forget that the majority of those snaps came while the Falcons were struggling to produce any offense against the Jets, and once Rodgers entered the game as he scored on second-half runs of 4 and 19 yards, and finished with 43 yards on 14 carries while catching all four of his targets for 15 yards.
At worst, he’ll put up those numbers against the Buccaneers this week, and with receivers Roddy White and Julio Jones both out, don’t be surprised to see Ryan target Rodgers early and often out of the backfield.
And at this point, the Falcons may even be forced to line Rodgers up at receiver, making him one of the top sleeper FLEX plays this week. He’s certainly an RB-2 in PPR leagues.
