
Now that the Atlanta Falcons have officially ruled out running back Steven Jackson, that means the touches for Jacquizz Rodgers figure to be as a high as any RB will get this week. Part of that also has to do with the fact that Jason Snelling is also dealing with a concussion, so even if he does play Sunday, his carries may be limited vs the physical Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense.
Falcons head coach Mike Smith did say this week Snelling looks to be on track for a return after suffering a concussion in the last game against the New York Jets on Oct. 7. Before his exit, Snelling took part in 20 offensive snaps and scored on a four-yard shovel pass from quarterback Matt Ryan.
