I don’t know much about Selena Gomez, outside of the fact that she’s the on-again, off-again girlfriend of Justin Bieber.

But I do know she has a big fan in Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio and the feeling seems to be mutual.

Gomez, who is currently on tour made her way through the Twin Cities on Thursday night and apparently Ricky Rubio decided to attend as he and his Wolves are in the midst of a two-game home stand.

Rubio tweeted about the concert on Thursday night and casually decided to drop some swag-ness, posting a picture of himself and Gomez hanging out backstage while the pop starlet held up a pint-sized Rubio jersey.

Now, two things. First off, I’m assuming Rubio knew he was going to the concert rather than just stumbling across it, so what’s up with the wardrobe choice? I mean – I’m not one to give another man fashion tips, but really? And secondly, does he just randomly carry around a child sized Rubio jersey for photo-ops?

Hey girl – you wanna take a picture with MY jersey!?
