Coming into the 2013-14 regular season, this is not how the Miami Heat, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade envisioned the year ending. On Sunday night, the Heat were blown out once again in Game 5 of the NBA Finals to seal the deal on their season and dashing their hopes of the three-peat.

Both players were the focal point of this embarrassing series for the team.
James, of course, is always the center of scrutiny. He didn’t necessarily play poorly, however given how brightly his star shines, the blame is erroneously cast on him whenever something less than favorable happens.
Wade, on the other hand, well some of his criticisms may be warranted. Throughout this entire series, he just didn’t look like the postseason Wade that we’re used to seeing, and that was not good news for Miami in the end.
Immediately following the Game 5 104-87 loss, both met with the media to discuss the events that had just happened.
Now, the questions will begin, especially with James having the option of becoming a free agent this summer.
Will that be the last time that we see James and Wade on the podium together as teammates? Will this be the last time LeBron mentions himself as a member of the Miami Heat?
