Jacksonville Jaguars play Philadelphia Eagles Tough

While many had written the Jaguars off, some of us felt like they could have some surprises in store for everyone. Yet, even the most pie-in-the-sky prognosticator didn’t expect them to hammer the Eagles for even a half.

While the score ended up about what you might have expected, just looking at the stats and final result doesn’t give you a real idea of how good the Jaguars looked (or how bad Nick Foles looks) in the first half.

Oh by the way—Allen Hurns was ridiculous. If we were worried about the state of the receivers Jacksonville has, this should ease that concern a little.

Sure, in the end Jacksonville let the game get away from them and Foles settled down. However, given how bad the non-Andrew Luck parts of the Indianapolis Colts look, this might be a team which could make some noise in the AFC South. The defense is the real story and as long as it plays to its potential, this is a dangerous team.
