Mo’ne Davis was the sensation of the 2014 Little League World Series. As such, the star pitcher of the Taney Dragons has been making the rounds, throwing out first pitches around the country and even appearing on late night television.

This week, Davis will take the show to Cooperstown to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. She will be donating her jersey from the Little League World Series and then playing in an exhibition game with her teammates at Doubleday Field.

Having gone viral has its benefits, and it is now taking Davis and her teammates to baseball’s hollowed ground. Here is what the Hall of Fame said about the event on their web site:

"Davis will visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum on Thursday, Sept. 25, along with teammates from both her Taney Little League World Series team and the Anderson Monarchs, her travel team since she was 7. Davis will donate the jersey she wore during the historic victory at the 2014 Little League Baseball World Series to the Museum, with Museum President Jeff Idelson on hand to accept the donation.Mamie “Peanut” Johnson, a former Negro Leagues pitcher and one of only three women to play in the Negro Leagues, will also attend Thursday’s donation event at the Museum."

Consider this another well-deserved honor for Davis after her great run earlier this summer.
