Buffalo Bills QB Kyle Orton threw a game-winning touchdown pass against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Apparently, one fan decided to mash the clip up with a famous scene from the movie “Napoleon Dynamite.”

Kyle Orton’s game winning throw was eerily reminiscent of former high school stud (should have been in the NFL) Uncle Rico’s “Porterhouse Pass.” Thanks to CBS Sports, we have coverage of such an act of internet ingenuity.

Rico

Orton did not exactly play like a movie star that day, but he was close (31-43 for 283 yards, 2 TD, and 1 INT). The “Tenderloin Toss” will live on in the hearts of Bills fans for years to come, should Buffalo find a way to sneak into the crowded AFC playoff picture.

Maybe the ghost of Uncle Rico really was with Kyle Orton that afternoon. Watch this GIF and I will let you be the judge.

Just look at both of them for a second. That poise. The coolness under pressure. The ability of both men to hit their targets perfectly with dead animal parts. Marvelous. I mean, just look at that side arm form. You cannot teach that.

Perhaps Orton can learn a thing or two from the man who would have won the state championship had coach put him in. There are not too many men who can throw a pigskin clear over “them mountains.”
