Nobody is really sure what the Minnesota Twins are doing here.

Photos on scoreboards in ballparks across the country almost always show players in their team uniform. Maybe the team will change it up for a special promotion every once in a while, but 99 percent of the time photos will be the traditional hat and uniform.
Then there’s the Minnesota Twins. The Twins decided to feature their players in business casual attire on scoreboard photos for what has to be the first time in major league history.
You stay classy, Joe Mauer.
Outfielder Jordan Schafer turned his swag on for his business casual photo op.
At some point, the team is going to have to answer some questions about what exactly prompted the mysterious scoreboard photos. Perhaps the 3-6 Twins, who have scored just 27 runs so far, are resigned to a long season in a tough AL Central division and just wanted to have some fun with it.
Or maybe they’ll start a new trend, as seeing ballplayers in casual attire is pretty hilarious. For weirdness sake, let’s hope this continues deep into the summer.
