Wide Receiver Sleepers Week 3

Brandon Marshall-New York Jets (FD-7,400, DK-6,200): Marshall has shown a strong connection with Ryan Fitzpatrick in his first two games with the Jets hauling in a touchdown in each game while totaling 13 catches for 163 yards.  Marshall could be in for even more work this week against the Eagles since #2 option Eric Deckeris a gametime decision.  So far, the Eagles have shown the tendency to be gauged by opposing team’s top WR, so look for another big game for Marshall in week 3.

Larry Fitzgerald-Arizona Cardinals (FD-6,700, DK-5,800): While he may not post another three-touchdown game like he has last week, Fitz is set up to continue his renaissance as the Cardinals host the 49ers who he always seems to plague.  San Francisco’s secondary was exposed by Big Ben last week, and Fitz and Carson Palmer should look to make quick work of the ‘Niners corners in the desert this afternoon.  While John Brown is nice and Michael Floyd has potential, Fitzgerald showed last week he’s not ready to give up the top receiver spot in Arizona just yet.

Allen Robinson-Jacksonville Jaguars (FD-6,600, DK-5,200): The Jagaurs will likely be playing from behind today in New England which should open up some solid production opportunities for Allen Robinson. Robinson broke out last week with 155 yards and a pair of touchdowns on six catches, and I don’t the the Pats have a corner who can hang with Robinson making him primed for a second consecutive monster outing.

Donte Moncrief-Indianapolis Colts (FD-6,000, DK-4,800): Moncrief continues to be under-priced in both formats as he becomes a larger part of the Colts’ passing attack.  Andre Johnson has struggled in the transition to Indianapolis and T.Y. Hilton has looked less than 100%.  Moncrief has a touchdown in each of the Colts’ first two games and has totaled 13 catches for 168 yards.

Rishard Matthews-Miami Dolphins (FD-5,700, DK-3,800): Matthews has started the year strong as the Dolphins second option in the passing game behind only Jarvis Landry.  Matthews found the end zone in week 1 and posted 116 yards on six catches last week.  This week, he’s in a tough matchup with the Bills, but Buffalo’s secondary has been beaten the last two weeks by Julian Edelman and Donte Moncrief, so there could be some room for Matthews and Ryan Tannehill to operate.

Tyler Lockett-Seattle Seahawks (FD-5,000, DK-3,400): Lockett and the Seahawks face the struggling Bears secondary this week.  While he’s a playmaker of the highest order, Lockett didn’t get into the game much for Seattle last week catching just two passes for 17 yards.  Still, his big play ability makes him an attractive flier with home run potential every week especially in a good matchup like this week’s at home in Seattle for the ‘Hawks.

Corey Brown-Carolina Panthers (FD-4,800, DK-3,400): The artist formerly known as “Philly” Brown is one of the last healthy receivers in Carolina as Jerricho Cotchery joined the injured list this week.  Brown and Ted Ginn Jr. are the presumed starters today against the Saints.  Last week, Brown found the end zone as part of three catches for 57 yards, and he’s one of Cam’s few proven options to throw the ball to in a favorable matchup this week.

Week 1 Picks: Brandin Cooks, Jarvis Landry, Terrance Williams, Donte Moncrief, Tyler Lockett, Brandon Coleman, Marquess Wilson
