Tight End Sleepers Week 1

Kyle Rudolph (FD-5,200, DK-3,300): Rudolph made it to pay dirt last week as part of five catches for 30 yards.  He has ten total catches on the season with 83 total yards.  This week, he faces the Chargers who have given up a touchdown to the opposing tight end in each of the first two weeks, so look for another solid performance from the big Notre Dame alum.

Coby Fleener-Indianapolis Colts (FD-5,100, DK-3,000): The Colts’ tight end situation has been a frustrating one for owners for the last several years with Fleener and Dwayne Allen splitting work. This week, as the Colts face a Titans team that is 26th in the NFL against opposing tight ends so far this season, things break Fleener’s way as Allen is sidelined with an ankle injury.  If Fleener gets extra targets, he could be a steal this week at his price which reflects his usual role in a timeshare.

Jared Cook-St. Louis Rams (FD-5,400, DK-2,800): For some reason, DraftKings doesn’t believe in Jared Cook.  Cook is incredibly cheap on DK making him a great value at 2,800.  Cook has led the Rams in receiving in both their first two weeks and is in a great matchup against the Steelers this week who have been beaten badly by tight ends so far this season.  Look for Cook to put up a big game at home in the dome this week.

Week 1 Picks: Zach Ertz, Kyle Rudolph, Scott Chandler
