87. The Carolina Panthers just invested a hell of a lot of money into starting quarterback Cam Newton, inking him to a six-year, $118.47 million contract that includes $60 million in guaranteed money. Now you need to go out and protect your investment and solidify the offensive line to keep him healthy and to help him succeed.
The Panthers could turn to Texas A&M offensive tackle Germain Ifedi in this spot. Ifedi has the frame at 6’5″ and 320 pounds. He is also flexible, able to line up at the right or left tackle spot. With Michael Oher on the left side and Mike Remmers on the right side, they could use Ifedi in either slot.

You’d have to assume that the Panthers, would probably peg Ifedi in on the left side to bolster that line until they can get a more solid solution and potentially move Ifedi to his more natural right tackle position and probably where he will play the majority of his career.

On either side, Ifedi would be an upgrade for the Panthers.

Ifedi is also solid in both the the pass and run situation, so he can help be an upgrade for the Panthers.
.
