DE. Baylor. Shawn Oakman. 26. player. 46. The Indianapolis Colts are trying to find the replacement for Dwight Feeney, and one might have fallen into their lap on the back end of the draft with the Baylor defensive end Shawn Oakman. For those unfamiliar with Oakman, he is Baylor’s crop top wearing, hulk of a monster you’ve seen floating around on social media (see above.)

The dude is 6’8″ and a whopping 280 pounds and while Oakman’s incredible physique is an obvious strength, it isn’t just the eyeball test that he passes.

Oakman can be viewed at as still a bit green, just a monster of muscles who is still learning to harness his athleticism and strength. Oakman’s future might lie as an edge rusher due to his height and athleticism, think of Mario Williams for instance.

He might not make the immediate impact of an All-Pro or Pro Bowler, he will take some refining and coaching. But there might not be a defensive lineman in the draft with more potential upside than Oakman given his physical capabilities.

The Colts are a franchise thinking long term with a young Andrew Luck at the helm of the offense, Oakman could be the player to anchor the defensive side to try and establish a dynasty for years to come.
