Luwawu is an intriguing player, who has drawn comparisons to Thabo Sefolosha.  The 21-year old swingman has great size and speed, and is the kind of natural scorer the Nuggets are looking for.  After spending three seasons with ProB, which is a French 2nd Division, Luwawu moved onto a solid ABA team, much like fellow Frenchman and current Denver Nugget Joffrey Lauvergne.

At 6-foot-7, with a 7-foot-2 wingspan, Luwawu is a special kind of guard.  A great natural leaper, he has the ability to get to the rim, creating scoring opportunities for himself.  Though he is looked upon as a score first type of player, he also possesses good passing skills, and can play the point if needed.

He does have his flaws, including his need to work on his left hand.  NBA scouts would also like to see him gain more upper body strength, as well as be a better one-on-one defender.  He has all the tools to be an impact player in the league, which is exactly what the Nuggets need offensively.

While he may be a stretch at number seven, he has the potential to be an impact player in the NBA very soon.
