Dunn is a prototypical Point Guard, who has the size and athleticism to play the position at the NBA level.  The Nuggets rookie point guard from last season was an All-Rookie team selection, but Dunn may be too good to pass up if he is available at number seven.  An explosive player, Dunn has the ability to change a game with his skill set, and the Nuggets could use all the offensive fire power they can get.

At Providence, Dunn put up some terrific numbers, although the Big East was fairly weak in 2016.  Still, he has a tremendous first step, and he is a terrific rebounder for someone who plays the point guard position.  He also is excellent at feeding the post, which is an area the Nuggets have some solid depth.  Dunn would team with Emmanuel Mudiay to form a solid two-man point guard tandem.

Injuries are always sure to scare off some teams, and Dunn has had his fair share during his career at Providence.  He has had issues with his shoulder, which limited his playing time his first two years on campus.  He also has shown the ability to turn the ball over, averaging over four turnovers per game last season.  However, his upside vastly outweighs his weaknesses, and the Nuggets would be more than happy taking him at seven.
