Theo Epstein rocked a Cubs head while spraying champagne all over Wrigley Field and himself yesterday; month-long bender off to good start.

There has never been an American sports executive who has had a better week than Theo Epstein. To recap: wins World Series, parties with Bill Murray, drops F-bomb on live television, plans month-long bender, and finally has his name mentioned as a candidate for the Presidency.

And now, we have this, a 42-year-old man wearing a mascot head and dousing himself with champagne in the middle of the afternoon, surrounded by adoring fans.

Here’s more, as he tossed the ol’ pigskin around.

Theo Epstein rocking a College Dropout edition bear head is the absolute best. He is a man of the people, just note the dude in full catcher’s gear popping bottles with the breaker of not one but two long-standing MLB curses. The bender is definitely in full effect as he sprays champagne in the middle of the afternoon, and it’s well deserved. Count me in as interested in a month-long Theo reality show.

There’s no debating it, Theo Epstein is the greatest living executive in America, and that includes every Fortune 500 CEO. He ended the Curse of the Bambino and the Curse of the Billy Goat, and built the Cubs into a potential dynasty. People also forget that it was Epstein who drafted almost the entire core of young Red Sox players before being forced out by ownership over conflicting views on personnel decisions.
