Chicago Cubs President of Baseball Operations Theo Epstein got excited and dropped the f-word on live television after Game 7 of the World Series.

Theo Epstein has seen plenty of big moments during his career in Major League Baseball. He helped lead the Boston Red Sox to breaking the Curse and on Wednesday night, his Chicago Cubs won their first World Series in 108 years.

With Epstein arguably breaking the two biggest curses in his lifetime, he was beyond excited after the game. He gave several interviews, but none bigger than one he gave on the field to reporters. Epstein was so excited about the win, that he dropped the f-word on television.

He mentioned how his friends were texting him congratulations early and he sent them back a seven-letter phrase, because he didn’t want them to jinx the team. In the end, the Cubs were able to overcome the odds and break the curse.

The television crew probably wasn’t expecting a bad word there, but it’s easy to understand the guy’s emotions. He had a big weight lifted off his shoulders and he has now forever gone down in baseball history as one of the best architects of the game ever.
