High Value SG

Rodney Hood-Utah Jazz (5,400): Hood took a bit of a back seat last night to Gordon Hayward and Derrick Favors. He turned in just 13 points to go with four rebounds and two assists for 20.8 fantasy points but he still has at least 32 fantasy points in three of his last six. He’s a solid play under 6K against the Heat tonight as the Jazz finish their Florida back-to-back although his ceiling is a little more limited now that Utah has its other scoreres back.

Sean Kilpatrick-Brooklyn Nets (5,300): As his FanDuel price has risen, his production has actually dropped over the last few games. He failed to reach double-digit points for the first time this season on Wednesday and had just 15.3 fantasy points. He had produced a few huge games earlier in the week with 41.5 fantasy points against the Pistons and 31.8 fantasy points against the Hornets. Tonight, he’s in a great matchup to bounce back in against the Suns who allow the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing SG. He’s still a boom-or-bust play, but there is a lot of upside to like.

Lou Williams-Los Angeles Lakers (5,000): Another good matchup to attack is Lou Williams against the Pelicans backcourt as the Lakers head to New Orleans. Williams has at least 25 fantasy points in five straight games after scoring 21 points in just 23 minutes against the Kings. LouWill has been solid off then bench for Coach Luke Walton and has helped the Lakers be a much more relevant team for DFS options. It’s still a crowded backcourt situation which raises the risk, but Williams has definitely shown he can be productive in his role off the bench.

E’Twaun Moore-New Orleans Pelicans (4,700): On the other side of that matchup, Moore has been seeing plenty of time for the Pelicans lately and been pretty productive. He had a season-high 20 points and 27.9 fantasy points in the team’s first win of the season on Thursday and has over 23 fantasy points in three of his last four. Moore is slightly less risky than Williams since he’ll get the playing time, but his ceiling isn’t quite as high. ∗∗∗

Josh Richardson-Miami Heat (3,600): Richardson is still a bargain since he’s working his way back from a knee injury. He has played increasing minutes in each of his three games since returning and looked increasingly healthy and comfortable. He played 28 minutes in his last game (Thursday) and had 16 points to go with a rebound and a blocked shot. Richardson has a ton of talent to grab at this price, but his game is still rounding into form. However, if you have to go cheap at any position tonight, Richardson is one of my favorite FanDuel daily picks.

Tomas Satoransky-Washington Wizards (3,500): John Wall is expected to take the night off after playing last night against the Cavs. Last time he rested, the Wizards rookie Tomas Satoranksy slid in and played 32 minutes with eight points, three assists, and two rebounds for 15.9 fantasy points. He has returned to the bench but still been productive with over 14 fantasy points in each of his last two games. He doesn’t have the upside of Richarsdon, but he is worth a look since he’ll start again tonight against the Bulls.
