High Value PF

Gorgui Dieng-Minnesota Timberwolves (5,700): While having to deal with Anthony Davis is not a fun job, opposing PF and C have fared well agains the Pelicans on the other end of the floor which makes Dieng a solid option to take a look at at under 6K tonight. Dieng played 40 minutes against Boston on Monday and had a season-high 20 points to go with ten rebounds and 37.5 fantasy points. He has at least 25 fantasy points in three of his last four games and seems to have won back the confidence of the coaching staff after a run of down games just over a week ago.

Zach Randolph-Memphis Grizzlies (5,400): Randolph has been a solid contributor for banged-up Memphis all season although his minutes have been limited. Randolph has at least 25 fantasy points in five of his last six games although he hasn’t produced as many as 30 fantasy points in any of his last ten. He’s a solid play with a limited ceiling tonight agains the 76ers, but he could be called on for more work since so many Grizzlies are hurting.

Jon Leuer-Detroit Pistons (4,500): Leuer has been a regular in my FanDuel daily picks as one of the best ways to save money on PF. He put up a dud on Saturday against the Celtics going scoreless in 21 minutes but bounced back with 12 points and eight boards for 21.6 fantasy points against the Rockets on Monday. He has at least 21 fantasy points in five of his last six games and eight of his last ten. He makes sense as a play under 5K especially against the Heat who don’t have many PF options in their rotation at this point.

Trey Lyles-Utah Jazz (4,200): Lyles looks like he’ll continue to start for the Jazz for as long as Derrick Favors is sidelined. He had a great game against Houston on Saturday with 25 fantasy points in his first start in place of Favors but only had 13.7 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Sunday. He’ll face Denver again tonight and is a high-risk, high-reward play at just over 4K.

Larry Nance Jr.-Los Angeles Lakers (3,900): Nance came through last night for the Lakers and my FanDuel daily picks picking up some extra playing time while Julius Randel was sidelined and finishing with 21.8 fantasy points pm 8-4-2 wth two steals and a block. Nance could get the start tonight if Randle can’t play through his hip pointer issue (early indications are Randle will be out). While the Warriors have a tendency to make more traditional big men unusable, Nance had 12-9-2 against them in 30 minutes earlier this season when he finished with 27.8 fantasy points. If you need a cheap forward, he’s my favorite sub-4K option by far.
