High Salary C

DeMarcus Cousins-Sacramento Kings (10,000): Boogie and the Kings welcome in the Thunder tonight and should catch OKC at a good time since they expended a lot of energy in last night’s loss in LA. Cousins will look to take it to the Thunder in his first game against them this season as he goes for his fourth-straight double-double. He had over 50 fantasy points in three straight before only managing 35 fantasy points due to foul trouble on Sunday. If he can avoid that issue again tonight, he should be able to get back to 50+ fantasy points. The Kings shift to a smaller, quicker lineup with Boogie at center should ultimately help his fantasy value, and I think that could easily start tonight against the Thunder.∗∗∗

Hassan Whiteside-Miami Heat (9,200): Whiteside kept right on rolling on Monday with 32-13-0 and a pair of blocks against the 76ers. He has been good for monster double-doubles and multiple blocks in each of his last seven games resulting in over 47 fantasy points in five straight games. Whiteside only played 33 minutes on Monday too, which should leave him fresh and ready to go against division-rival Detroit tonight. Over their last five games, no team in the NBA is giving up more fantasy points per game to opposing centers, so Whiteside should be in a place to explode with a huge number at The Palace tongiht.  ∗∗∗

Al Horford-Boston Celtics (7,200): Horford has been one of my favorite DFS plays for the last few years, so I was psyched when he joined my favorite NBA team, the Celtics. A concussion kept him sidelined for the first few weeks of the month, but he has looked excellent in his two games since returning finishing with 47.7 fantasy points against the Pistons on Saturday and 42.7 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Monday. Against Minnesota he had 20-6-5 after 18-11-5 against Detroit while adding three blocks in each contest as well. Horford’s run of good matchups continues tonight as he and the Celtics take on the Nets.

Marc Gasol-Memphis Grizzlies (6,800): Another one of my favorites at center is do-it-all big man Marc Gasol of the Grizzlies. Gasol had 39.1 fantasy points against Charlotte on Monday with 13-8-9 and three blocks. He had been held under 25 fantasy points in each of his two previous contests, so it was a nice bounce back performance for him. Gasol gets a great matchup tonight against the 76ers who are allowing the second-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing centers. Gasol is a nice value player at under 7K in a great matchup. As long as things don’t turn into a blowout, he’ll be good to go.
