High Salary SF

LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (9,800): LeBron has his second triple-double of the season on Wednesday finishing with 31-10-13 agaisnt the Blazers for a season-high 65.5 fantasy points. James has over 48 fantasy points in five of his last eight games, and he’s one of the most reliable options on a nightly basis because he always contribute in some category. He can go off with a monster game if he needs to, but most of the time he’s a solid, steady option like he should be tonight against the Mavericks. ∗∗

Jimmy Butler-Chicago Bulls (8,800): Butler gets a great matchup tonight against the 76ers who are allowing more fantasy points to opposing SF than any other team in the NBA. Butler has a history of destroying Philadelphia scoring 53 points against them in one memorable performance last year. Butler has been playing very well on the Bulls’ road trip so far and has posted over 55 fantasy points in four of his last eight. He had 35-8-5 against the Nuggets in the Bulls loss on Tuesday after 40-7-6 in LA when Dwyane Wade rested. Butler should get lots of work in this good matchup tonight and is one of the players under 9K with the highest ceiling at any position tonight.∗∗∗

Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (7,100): After a few games struggling with his shot, Hayward had a couple nice games against he Nuggets to start the week. He posted 33.4 fantasy points on 25-7-2 on Sunday and followed that with 22-5-7 for 40.5 on Wednesday. The Jazz SF is in a good matchup tonight as the Jazz host the Hawks and can produce across the board when he’s going well. His “down” games aren’t as bad as some of the other options at this price point, and he should be able to get at least 30 fantasy points with upside for more against Atlanta.

Harrison Barnes-Dallas Mavericks (6,100): With all the Mavs’ injuries, Barnes has been called upon to carry a lot of the offensive load. He had 30.8 fantasy points against he Clippers on Wednesday with 22-4-2 giving him at least 30 fantasy points in six of his last nine games. He’ll go head-to-head with LeBron James tonight, but even with Dirk back in the lineup now, Barnes looks like he’ll get enough opportunities in the offense to to be a solid mid priced play.
