Dear Santa,

We’ve been good this year. We’ve tried to do right by everyone. We brought back Carson Palmer after that NFC title game, hoping he could give us just one more season, and of course he got injured. We brought in Adrian Peterson, only to watch his former team put together the best rushing attack in the league without him. Our defense has regressed to the days of Dave McGinnis despite minimal changes.

We’ve been good. We just aren’t catching the right breaks.

For Christmas, all we want is proof that this whole “naughty and nice” thing isn’t a sham. We’ve been nice and done things the right way. We expect to be rewarded as such. We’re not asking for a new quarterback or for you to help us find Patrick Patterson. We’re simply asking for you to give us something better than the New York Giants.

Come to think of it, how about punishing them and rewarding us by sending us Eli Manning? You gave us Kurt Warner over ten years ago and that worked out well. The Giants have done wrong by Eli. They have been very naughty this year and deserve nothing. We deserve Eli.

If you’re not going to do it for us and our fanbase. Do it for Larry Fitzgerald. There’s no way you can turn down Larry Fitzgerald. He’s one of the smarter, nicest players in league history. He’s a consummate professional and deserves a quarterback who gives him a chance at winning during his final years.

Top gift choice: Eli Manning
Second choice: Proof of existence
