New York Yankees will be unstoppable if these players get hot

3. Luis Severino

The Yankees ace is another player who has been excellent all year long. Like Judge, he’s been even better lately. His numbers over the last 30 days are absolutely dominant.

He’s won four of his six starts during that time period and he’s posted a miniscule ERA of just 1.54. There’s a reason that people are already talking about Severino as a potential Cy Young candidate.

Boone can’t ask anything more out of Severino. He is the team’s unquestioned ace at this point. The real question is whether or not he can keep this form going for the full season. If he does, it bodes well for the Yankees chances of having a deep run in October.

The most encouraging thing about Severino’s performance this season is the presence he’s shown on the mound. He’s carrying himself like the dominant starter he is. That’s really bad news for Boston and other teams looking to finish ahead of the Yankees this season.
