4. Michael Fulmer

The Dodgers don’t need to overhaul their starting rotation, but adding a solid right hander would be a good decision. Adding the 2016 AL Rookie of the Year could turn into a great move for the team’s front office.

The Tigers know they aren’t going anywhere so they’re at least willing to listen to offers for Fulmer. He might require one top prospect to acquire, but that price is acceptable for a pitcher who is still just 25 years of age.

Acquiring Fulmer would be a play for both the present and future. He can provide the team some insurance against the questionable healthy of their current rotation. He also slots nicely into their future rotation for years to come.

Fulmer isn’t a dominant pitcher, but his current 4.35 ERA is probably a little inflated based on his talent level. A move to a more competitive situation in Los Angeles could be just what he needs to get his career back on track. The Dodgers should make an aggressive offer for the talented right hander.
