Clelin Ferrell. 3. player. 28. . Edge. Clemson

The Oakland Raiders actually won a game on Sunday, as they went into the desert and beat the Arizona Cardinals. With the win, the Raiders lost their grip on the first overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and if the season ended tomorrow, they would be picking at No. 3, where they could still fill a major hole.

This past offseason, the Raiders decided to trade away elite edge rusher Khalil Mack, sending him to the Chicago Bears for draft picks. While Mack has turned the Bears into a real contender in the NFC, the Raiders have gone the other direction, and have one of the worst pass rushes we have seen in a very long time.

When it comes time for the Raiders to draft in the first round in 2019, they have to utilize their highest draft pick on the edge rusher position, and there are a few big name prospects to choose from. Nick Bosa from Ohio State is likely to be the first one off the board, but adding a player like Clelin Ferrell from Clemson could really help this team moving forward.

2018 fifth-round pick Arden Key looks to have the talent to start on the edge at the NFL level, so adding Ferrell would give the Silver and Black two very good edge rushers for the foreseeable future. The Raiders have gotten great effort from their rookies this season, and have a golden opportunity to improve this roster next April.
